More spring flowers.

There has been lots of beauties out in the garden this week. I so love doing up the mixed garden bouquets. The Lupins are still going strong and I have lots of bouquets ready to go.
Isn't this iris just beautiful. I am so amazed at the intricate pattern that each flower has. My collection is always growing and I have many new ones just coming into bud. We will be enjoying them for a few weeks.
I have just started picking a few peonies. My Red charm plants are doing well and so far I have been able to fill some custom orders with them. Very soon there will be peony bouquets a plenty.

More flowers this week.

There are a few more flowers this week. The second pick of lilacs. This one is so delicate with its white edge. They are available as bunches, in a mixed bouquet or arranged in a vase for you to just take home. Other flowers that have started: Alstromeria (4 colors), columbines, lupines and Iris.
Lilacs are a lovely cut flower. If you have some in your yard, please consider picking them. I find I really get to appreciate a blossom when it is in a vase. Tips for using Lilac stems: cut stems on a deep slant, use flower food, and check the water everyday. They drink a lot and like deep water. Depending on the variety they last from 5 - 7 days. If your not fortunate to have some in your yard, come by and get yourself a bunch.

Mothers day weekend!

On the flower front, I will have very limited availability of Green Calla bouquets and Lilac stems. But we just got some one of a kind handcrafted items in the shop that might interest you.
The lovely Margo who makes our birdhouses created these whimsical chimes. Each one is uniques.
On another note: We are now on Facebook. A link it at the top left of our page. Please head on over and Like our page. I am just starting to post some pictures there. Thanks!

A few Flowers to pick!

I was just able to come up with enough flowers to do up a beautiful vase. My wonderful Hairdresser will get this. It is such a treat to wander and fill a pail with flowers and then create something beautiful. The Callas are just starting and hopefully with some warm weather we will be picking lilac and alstromeria. From this:
